Cup n Canvas Menu: As the name suggests, cups N Canvas is a café in which you can sit down and enjoy a cup of coffee while making art on a canvas. It’s located a little distance from Laselle College and (rather) close to Dhoby Ghaut MRT.

It’s a pretty artsy cafe that serves excellent coffee and delicious mains. The service is great and they offer lunch specials! It is a great spot for students to complete work, or to meet over lunch.

Look& Feel

As you can observe, on the right side is the cafe and on the left side, is where the art space is. On a typical day, there will be seating on the side of the arts too.

They also have an outdoor section, which isn’t great for a rainy day!

Food & Drinks

The Blanc Bacon Pasta was amazing. The cream was delicious and had a pleasant scent from the mushrooms. It was a bit slightly salty but not too great.

It’s one of the cream pasta I’ve tried. It’s it is easy to find pasta that I might get tired of after just 3 bites but I’m happy to report that this isn’t one of them!

Also, I’m a sucker for salty food, so when this is a good fit for my preferences this might be too salty for you!

I am a fan of their promotional sets. I don’t feel the pain when I receive the coffee for free.

In another instance, I also ordered the Big Breakfast. It was an assortment. The food was excellent and I especially loved their sauteed mushroom and baby potatoes.

My friend ordered a Greeno Pesto. It was cooked well but could have been better by adding a little more scent.

On another occasion, I stopped by for lunch and I had Crispy Chicken, with Rice and mushroom sauce.

The sauce with mushrooms was tasty while the chicken itself was delicious. It was a large portion that made me feel happy.

Then, the coffee! It was a Latte that was a bit toasty and left a bitter taste in the mouth. It could use a bit more scent, but I enjoy their coffee quite some.

So far, I haven’t yet tried their Sweet Potato Latte. I’ve read that it’s delicious and staff members also suggested I try it. I’m going to try it next time!

Try the food while you’re there! In other cases, the coffee might suffice to brighten your day. Avoid the times when they close off part of the area for art classes since there will be a lot of tables!
