Restore Singapore Review Tanjong Pagar
Contents
Restore Singapore Review: Restore is among the longest-running cafes in Singapore since the first wave of cafes began in 2010.
They are unique for the way they sell antique furniture, with the majority of the chairs being on display on the walls. It is located in a peaceful area located in Tanjong Pagar, providing a short escape from the workers in the vicinity.
It’s a great place to hang out after dinner, thanks to the wide variety of desserts available. It is also possible to visit the place following Cake Spade, which is just a short distance away.
Look & Feel
The simple design is appealing to the eye. It’s as if you’ve been transported back 10 years entering this café. The vintage decor provides a casual ambiance that allows customers to unwind and relax.
The display of chairs is the most distinctive decor feature in the cafe. The chairs that are hung on the walls are certainly striking.
The tarts and cakes displayed look tasty too! There were strong, delicious scents coming toward us at times which made us very eager to eat our food.
Food & Drinks
We had a lot of options however we decided to try this Dark Chocolate Tart test. While the crust could be better if it were less than brittle, the flavor was very good. The chocolate was quite bitter because it was composed of dark chocolate.
It is definitely a good choice for the tastes of those who aren’t a fan of desserts that are overly sweet. It’s hard to call this tartan absolute star, however, we did consume it in a matter of minutes.
We were attracted by the appealing description “drizzled with gula Melaka and shredded coconut, topped with icing sugar and freshly whipped cream”.
Do you have a fondness for gula Melaka, as I do? So, we decided to go by serving Kelapa waffles which were an entire semicircle of waffles, and Gula Melaka sauce.
In a Nutshell
Restore is a wonderful quaint place to stay if you’re located in the vicinity. The decor and food are worthy of visiting and I’d recommend you visit the cafe that has been in operation for four years.
The average costs in the cafe are quite reasonable, meaning that you can indulge in delicious desserts and not feel discomfort!
